We are currently working with local government and emergency response teams to promote the what3words app across the trail network. This innovative tool allows users to share their exact location with first responders in the event of an emergency. It’s also useful for planning meet-ups with friends along the trail. You can learn more about what3words on their website or by downloading the app by searching “what3words” in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
A what3words address is a unique combination of three words that identifies a specific 3 metre square. It’s an easy way to find, share, and navigate to precise locations, anywhere in the world.
